It was such a pleasure to see so many CWSGA participants at Mad River on Monday, July 10th, 2023. We were so blessed to have a spectacular day in every respect. 73 golfers competed in Stroke or Stableford format.
Our 2023 Ontario Summer Tournament Winners are:
Overall Low Net Trophy with a score of 72 went to Darlene Polyschuk
Overall Low Gross Trophy with a score of 80 went to Debbie Court
Low Net 70+ years Trophy with a score of 74 went to Gail Todgham
Stableford Winner was Beth Dea with 39 points
Stableford 2nd place went to Flora Courteau with 34 points
Flight A – 1st Low Net was Carole Pigott with a score of 75
– 2nd Low Net was Barbara Wellard with a score of 76
– 3rd Low Net was Cathy Carter with a score of 76
Flight B – 1st Low Net was Lisa King with a score of 74
– 2nd Low Net was Charlene Wildridge with a score of 74
– 3rd Low Net was Marilyn Field-Marsham with a score of 75

Congratulations to all our winners. As your tournament chair, it was especially heartwarming for me to be able to host you at my home club. Our association is as much about the friendships we build as the competition. This was evident by the positive energy that was in the room following golf !
It was a very fun day and we look forward to connecting with all our CWSGA members at our National Tournament at Deerhurst Resort in Muskoka on September 5-9th, 2023.
